Greetings to all my Trojan classmates. It's been a long time coming and a long time gone. Before some us became Trojans we were Knights first. And before that snotty-nosed Pee-Greens haulin'ass home after our last day at Palomar hoping that we wouldn't get smeared with lipstick from our future fellow Knights.

Assistant Buyer, Costco International Married 2 no I was watching TV with my mom, I think. 2009-06-03 18:45:54
I still paint (sometimes, anyway) still specializing in yacht portraits...this one is called, At the Mark.

I was an artist for a living for 15 years after school...then I got married, had kids and had to get a real job...I have worked for Costco for 20+ years in Costco Mexico, International Division.

It's a lot different from being an artist, but it's an amazingly interesting job, if a bit stressful at times. I'm still an artist (slacker) at heart, so I'm still trying to figure out how to live on the beach and paint like I did in my twenties.

I had attended Mesa Vista College for two years on weekends while I was still in high school. After high school, I went to Southwestern. While attending Southwestern, I taught painting and drawing to adults for the recreation department.  Then I audited classes at San Diego State (but I never finished my degree, so I think I'm the best-educated underachiever I know:)

In 1981 I married Charlie Hagan from Mar Vista. I first met him on the track at Castle Park in 1969 after a meet. He was Beatrice Montijo's boyfriend, then. One day 12 years later he walked in the door while I was visiting a friend. We were married a few months later. I asked him, actually...he told me he really liked me and I proposed. We've been married almost 28 years and I tell him he's my personal best...so far.

Courtney was born in 1982 and Crystal in 1984..
Courtney married Michael Mace in 2003 and they have two children: Charlie age 4 and Scarlet age 5 months. It's a wonderful life.

August 30, 1951 Retired Married 6 No In Chula Vista (San Diego), but that's about all I can remember. 2010-04-20 23:10:34
I definitely remember when Palomar Elementary opened and hurrying home after graduation from 6th grade so I wouldn't get smeared with lipstick.  Walking to Castle Park Junior High, rain or shine and the wonderful times as a Trojan at Castle Park High.  I not only have my year books from high school, but I have my yearbooks from CPJHS.

June 13, 1951 Teacher Married 3 Does Devil Pups count? I was bagging groceries in the "Country Store" at Ream Field NAAB, IB, when a man made the small step. They had a small TV set up by the checkout area and we all stopped and watched. 2009-05-19 18:40:47
If the organizational meeting the other night at Jake's (now South Bay Bar and Grill), was any indication...this is going to be a fun one.  As I was telling Patty, it's amazing how much we haven't changed, especially the voices.  Very cool.
